Overview

Proposed construction to completion of an administration block (three offices) at Chiakariga Police Station, Tharaka Constituency. This is an Open National Tender issued by NG-CDF Tharaka for a building works contract, with submission deadline 25 June 2026 and venue in Marimanti.

Requirements

• Valid National Construction Authority (NCA) registration and NCA practicing license.
• Valid Kenya Revenue Authority tax compliance certificate.
• Copy of registration/incorporation (or CR12 for companies) current to 2026-01-01; original business registration documents.
• Properly filled, signed and stamped Form of Tender; authorized signatory.
• Confidential Business Questionnaire completed, stamped.
• Documented evidence of Electronic Government Procurement System (EGPS) registration.
• Evidence of past work experience; proofs of similar completed projects.
• Dully serialized tender documents; tape/spiral binding; tender document submitted with original and copies.
• If applicable, AGPO certificate (Youth, Women & PWD).
• Foreign tenderers: evidence of at least 40% local content; JV rules if forming a consortium (JV agreements or letter of intent).

• Tender documents to include: Form of Tender; priced Bills of Quantities; Tender Security or Declaration; authorization; qualifications; technical proposal; any other documents required by the TDS. (see ITT 11.1)
• Submit sealed bids in hard copy to NG-CDF Tharaka, Marimanti Adjacent to Tharaka South Sub-county office, before 25 June 2026 at 10:00 am; electronic tenders not permitted. Late tenders will be rejected. (see CHIAKARIGA POLICE STATION NOTICE)
• Tender opening is public after the deadline at the submission location. Include serialized pages and ensure all pages are numbered.
