Overview

The procurement is for the PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION TO COMPLETION OF 4 OFFICES AND A STAFFROOM ON A STOREYED BUILDING AT KINAMBA PRIMARY SCHOOL. Open to contractors with NCA category 8 and above for building works; preferably those with valid tax clearance, CR12, and correct tender documentation. Scope and documents refer to Kinamba Primary School (Naivasha NG-CDF) with open competition.

Notes drawn from attached docs indicate the project scope also appears as Phase II works for Kinamba (2 classrooms/administration block in the BOQ), alongside the main description (see TENDER DOC, BOQ).

Requirements

• NCA registration: category 8+ for building works (and current annual practicing license). (see NOTICE)
• Tax compliance certificate (KENYA Revenue Authority) or exemption. (see NOTICE)
• Evidence of company registration and directors/beneficial owners (CR12) where applicable. (see NOTICE)
• Tender security or tender-securing declaration as per TDS. (see TENDER DOC)
• Signed Form of Tender, Confidential Business Questionnaire, Certificate of Independent Tender Determination, and Self Declaration. (see NOTICE)
• Joint Venture requirements if applicable; JV Agreement or letter of intent. (see ITT 11.2)
• Site visit and pre-tender meeting (if arranged) with minutes and updates via addenda. (see ITT 7)
• Compliance with eligibility rules, including no debarment and anti-corruption provisions. (see ITT 2)
• Currency: bids in Kenyan Shillings; inclusion of taxes. (see ITT 14.3-14.4)

How to Apply

• Obtain tender documents from the PPIP Portal (tenders.go.ke); electronically free. (see TENDER DOC)
• Prepare: Form of Tender, priced Bills of Quantities (BOQ), Tender Security, JV documents if any, and required annexes. (see ITT 11)
• Include documentation: tax clearance, CR12, NCA registration (category 8+), and other attachments listed in the NOTICE. (see NOTICE)
• Submit in a single sealed envelope (Original + Copies) to NG-CDF Naivasha; hand delivery only (no electronic submission). Deadline: 01 September 2026 by 10:00 local time. (see TENDER DOC)
• Tenders will be opened publicly after the deadline; minutes will record names, prices, and documents submitted. (see TDS)
