Overview

Proposed construction to completion of 9 classrooms, installation of gutters, 2 no. 10,000 litres water tanks and construction of 2 no. water tank bases at Wusi Primary School. Open tender open to all qualified bidders holding a TAITA TAVETA County business permit; Joint Ventures are not permitted; bidders must meet Kenya’s public procurement and construction registration and local-content rules (NCA registration required before contract signing; foreign bidders must source at least 40% inputs from Kenyan suppliers). Requirements

• Tender security of KShs 260,000 from a CBK-recognized bank or PPRA-approved insurer (valid through tender validity). (see TENDER DOC&BQS)
• Bidders must be eligible and comply with anti-corruption, anti-collusion and conflict-of-interest provisions; provide required declarations and JV details if any. (see TENDER DOC&BQS)
• National Construction Authority (NCA) registration is mandatory before contract signing (not a tender condition). Foreign bidders must meet 40% local-content requirement. (see TENDER DOC&BQS)
• Provide tax clearance and comply with Kenyan tax and procurement laws; currency is Kenyan Shillings; include all taxes in prices. (see TENDER DOC&BQS)
