PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION TO COMPLETION OF A 45 STUDENT SCIENCE LABORATORY WITH FULLY OPERATIONAL FUME CHAMBER AT HIGWAY SECONDARY SCHOOL

Overview

Open tender to construct and complete a 45-student science laboratory with a fully operational fume chamber at Highway Secondary School; open to qualified Kenyan bidders with NCA category 8+ for building works. Requirements

• Documentation: CR12 (directors/owners) not older than 1 year; Confidential Business Questionnaire; Certificate of Independent Tender Determination; Self-Declaration; Form of Tender; joint venture documents if applicable.
• Local content and sourcing: foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan citizens; currency in KSh.
• Tender security: bid bond of KSh 102,000; validity ~150 days; alternative tender security acceptable.
• Other: proof of incorporation, tax clearance, trading license; not debarred; site visit/briefing details (may be required by TDS); tenders valid for 210 days.
