PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION TO COMPLETION OF A FORTY-FIVE (45) CAPACITY STUDENT LABORATORY AT MTUMWA JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL.

Overview

Procurement of construction works to complete a 45-capacity student laboratory at Mtumwa Junior Secondary School; open to all qualified bidders with building-works registration (NCA), tax compliance, KRA PIN, and compliance with Kenyan public procurement rules. The works are for Mtumwa JSS under NG-CDF Lungalunga, with a three-month completion window.

Requirements

• Valid registration/incorporation (CR12 for limited companies; identity cards for sole proprietors)
• Tax compliance certificate
• KRA PIN (VAT where applicable)
• National Construction Authority registration (NCA8 or above) for building works
• Not a public officer or close relative; no conflicts of interest
• Foreign bidders: minimum 40% of contract inputs sourced from Kenyan suppliers (evidence required)
• Tender security: KShs 100,000 from a bank or PPRA-approved insurer
• Tender validity: 180 days
• Documents to be serialized from cover to last page
• Tender must be prepared and submitted in English; signatories authorized to commit the bidder
• Submission is by hand delivery (no electronic submission) to NG-CDF Lungalunga (Mtumwa Lot)

  • Form of Tender and signed authorization

  • JV agreement if applicable
  • Evidence of eligibility and qualifications
  • Technical proposal demonstrating work methods and schedule
