PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION TO COMPLETION OF A FORTY-FIVE (45) CAPACITY STUDENT LABORATORY AT MALEDI PRIMARY SCHOOL

Overview

Open tender for the proposed construction to completion of a 45-capacity student laboratory at Maledi Primary School. Bidders should be qualified contractors with National Construction Authority (NCA) registration for building works, compliant with Kenyan procurement laws; foreign bidders must meet minimum local content; joint ventures are permitted under ITT.

Requirements

• Valid tax compliance certificate and, where applicable, KRA PIN/Tax obligations.
• National Construction Authority registration for building works (NCA8 or higher).
• Compliance with Kenyan Public Procurement laws; include Independent Tender Determination and avoid conflicts of interest.
• Foreign bidders must demonstrate minimum 40% local content in inputs (supplies, subcontracts, labor).
• Bidders may form or join a joint venture; provide JV agreement or letter of intent.
• Tender security of KSh 100,000 from a recognized financial institution or PPRA-approved insurer.
• Bidders must not be debarred; comply with anti-corruption and eligibility rules.
