Requirements

• Mandatory eligibility and compliance documents: company incorporation/registration, CR12 (within 6 months), IDs for directors, Tax Compliance Certificate, KRA PIN, single business permit; NCA registration in relevant trade (NCA 6 or above); renewed NCA practicing license.
• Bid security: original bid security of 800,000 Kenyan shillings from a bank or PPRA-approved insurer (banker’s cheque or bank guarantee).
• Site access and due diligence: site visit advised; obtain information to prepare tender and contract; proposer indemnifies entity for site examination.
• Anti-corruption and integrity: declarations on fraud/corruption; Certificate of Independent Tender Determination; comply with public procurement rules.
• Other: foreign input rules and local content provisions as applicable; adherence to PPRA PPW/U rules and data sheet requirements.
