PROPOSED OPENING/MAINTENANCE OF KOBADO-KANYAPENDE DAM-KARANKAMAMRA- KOWUTHO-PINYOWACHO-KANGUTHA-NYAKORURU-KOTHERUPINYOWACHO- KONYUNA ROADS.

Overview

Proposed opening/maintenance of Kobado-Kanyapende Dam and associated roads. This is a Works Contract issued by the Migori County Government, open to all qualified bidders. Bidders should have relevant Kenyan registration (NCA), tax clearance, and comply with local-content rules if foreign. Joint ventures are allowed.

Requirements

• Eligibility: open to qualified tenderers; joint ventures allowed; no conflicts of interest; debarment provisions apply.
• Local and national requirements: National Construction Authority registration; tax compliance; foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs locally; nationality and JV rules apply.
• Documentation: Form of Tender and Schedules, Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration, Joint Venture Agreement (or intent), and qualifications evidence.
• Technical/contract requirements: contract period around 6 months; detailed Bills of Quantities and technical proposals; compliance with ITT provisions.
• Site visit: mandatory pre-tender site visit at Kobado (9:00) with an authorized representative who has a diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent; bring ID, registration certificate, diploma certificate, and company authorization letter.

• Attend the pre-tender site visit (date/time/venue as per tender document) and bring required identification and credentials.
• Prepare and submit via the online supplier portal by the deadline (11 November 2026, 08:00). Include: Form of Tender, BoQ, Tender Security, JV documents (if applicable), and qualifications.
• Clarifications: submit questions in writing by the period stated in the Tender Data Sheet; responses will be published as addenda ( tender document).
