Overview

Procurement of construction works for the proposed opening/maintenance of multiple Migori County roads; open to qualified road-works contractors. The contract covers a batch of road-opening/maintenance works with an approximate 6-month period.

Requirements

• Eligible tenderers: open to qualified contractors; joint ventures allowed; each JV must appoint a representative and be jointly and severally liable.
• Local content and nationality: foreign bidders must meet 40% local inputs; registration with Kenya’s National Construction Authority (NCA) required before contract signature; tenderers must comply with PPRA rules.
• Certifications and tax: evidence of tax compliance; Kenyan tax clearance; NCA registration proof; proof of current EBK/registration where applicable.
• Site/eligibility: mandatory pre-site visit at Korogati; bidders must bring authorisation letter, diploma in Civil Engineering, IDs, registration proof, and company papers.
