Overview

Proposed renovation to completion of 3 classrooms at Karambani Primary School. This is an Open National Tender issued by NG-CDF Tharaka for a small building works contract. Eligible bidders are building contractors with proper licenses, including NCA registration, tax clearance, EGPP (EGPS) registration, and demonstrated experience in similar school renovation projects.

Requirements

• Valid registration/incorporation; recent CR12 or equivalent business registration documents.
• Valid tax compliance certificate.
• National Construction Authority (NCA) registration and practicing license.
• Registered with the Electronic Government Procurement system (EGPS).
• AGPO certificate (for Youth, Women or PWD) where applicable.
• Duly filled confidential business questionnaire; current trading license; submission of required originals/photocopies as specified.
• Proof of past similar works and overall evidence of relevant project experience.
• No debarment; no conflicts of interest; compliance with anti-corruption/competition rules.
• Foreign bidders: must show at least 40% of inputs sourced from Kenyan citizens; evidence to be provided.
• Joint Venture (if any) must meet JV member limits per the TDS; JV Agreement or Letter of Intent to execute must be included.
• Tender security (as per TDS) and tender validity (180 days); prices in Kenyan Shillings; documents serialized and bound.
