Overview

Renovation works to completion of 8 classrooms at Vitsangalaweni Primary School, including re-roofing, re-plastering, re-painting, tiling, replacement of windows and doors, installation of water harvesting goods, and ramp and entry steps. Open tender for a 3-month works contract open to eligible contractors.

Requirements

• Open to all qualified bidders; comply with standard procurement rules (registration, tax, etc.).
• Foreign bidders must meet local content requirements (40% of inputs from national suppliers) and provide evidence.
• National Construction Authority (NCA) registration may be required at contract award.
• Joint ventures permitted with specified limits; all JV members jointly liable.
• No public officers or close relatives may participate; avoid conflicts of interest.
• Tender security: KSh 120,000 from an accredited financial institution or PPRA-approved insurer.
• Tenders must be valid for 180 days; bids must be priced in Kenyan Shillings.
• Documentation must be complete and serialized; comply with ITT/DS requirements.
