PROPOSED RENOVATIONS AND EXTERNAL WORKS AT ST. MARYS SOSIO PRIMARY SCHOOL

Overview

Procurement of Proposed Renovations and External Works at St. Marys Sosio Primary School. Open tender for works/civil renovations and external site works, targeting contractors with relevant experience in school renovations and related works; open to all qualified bidders.

Requirements

• Eligibility and compliance with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, including anti-corruption declarations and avoidance of collusion; certificates of independent tender determination may be required.
• Qualifications and registrations: valid National Construction Authority (NCA) registration before contract award; tax compliance certificate; nationality and other eligibility rules for foreign/kenyan joint ventures; debarment status checked.
• Local content: foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan citizens or firms.
• Tender security: either a Tender Security of 100,000 KSh or a Tender-Securing Declaration (as specified in the TDS).
• Documentation: Form of Tender, priced Bills of Quantities, Joint Venture documents if applicable, authorization to sign, and evidence of qualifications; technical conformity and any requested addenda.
• Price and currency: quoted in Kenyan Shillings; all taxes included; tender validity 120 days; adjustments possible only as permitted.
• Delivery and timing: tenders must be delivered in sealed envelopes by the deadline; electronic submissions are not permitted.
• Site visit: visiting the works site is at the tenderer’s risk and cost.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 10:00 AM, October 30, 2026 (see Tender Document). Late tenders will be rejected.
• Submission method: hard copy; hand-delivered to the Kimilili NG-CDF offices; sealed in a single package with separate original and copies envelopes; no electronic submission.
• Documents to complete/submit (per ITT 11 and Section IV): Form of Tender and Schedules (Bill of Quantities), Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration, Joint Venture documents (if applicable), authorization to sign, qualifications evidence, technical proposal, and any other documents required in the TDS.
• Pre-qualification/registrations: ensure registration with NCA before award; provide tax clearance; provide evidence of eligibility and ownership/control details as required.
• Where to obtain bid documents: electronically from www.tenders.go.ke (free) and from the Kimilili NG-CDF office; tender documents may also be viewed/downloaded from the website; requests for clarifications to cdfkimilili@ngcdf.go.ke.
