Requirements

• National Construction Authority (NCA) registration prior to contract signature (not a tender condition, but required for award).
• Tax compliance certificate (KRA) and documentary proof of ownership/control as applicable.
• Foreign bidders: must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan citizens; evidence required.
• Tender security of 100,000 KSh; serialized tender documents; notified tender format.

• Submission method: hand delivery in a sealed envelope to Kimilili NG-CDF offices; separate envelopes for ORIGINAL and COPIES (TENDER DOCUMENT).
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender, priced Bill of Quantities, Tender Security, Joint Venture documents if applicable, certifications (incorporation certificate, CR12, director IDs), and qualifications information (TENDER DOCUMENT).
• Tender documents: obtain from www.tenders.go.ke (free download) or from Kimilili NG-CDF office (KSh 1,000 non-refundable tender fee) (ADVERT).
• Site visit/pre-tender briefing: may be specified in the TDS; attend as invited (TENDER DOCUMENT).

• Standstill and award: 14-day standstill after notification; debriefing on request; contract signing contingent on final approvals (TDS).
