Overview

Procurement of one (1) new 52-seater school bus for WAMALWA KIJINA SECONDARY SCHOOL in Kanduyi Constituency; open to qualified bus suppliers/manufacturers. Eligible bidders must demonstrate capacity to deliver and provide after-sales service within 100 km, and complete all mandatory documents and certifications.

Requirements

• Mandatory documents: certificate of registration/incorporation, valid single business permit, CR12, KRA PIN, valid Tax Compliance Certificate, duly filled tender documents, and verifiable evidence of similar supply in the last 3 years (with contracts and photos), all properly serialized.
• Bid security: original bid security of KSh 240,000 (banker’s cheque or PPRA-approved bank guarantee), valid for 150 days from tender opening.
• Additional compliance: copy of current VAT/PIN, after-sale service workshop within 100 km, Manufacturer’s Authorization if not the manufacturer, proof of dealership if applicable, Anti-Corruption and Debarment declarations.
• Product eligibility/conformity: country of origin for goods, detailed technical descriptions, and clause-by-clause conformity to technical specifications.
• Delivery: bus to be delivered within 100 days from contract signing.
• Price basis: prices must be in Kenya Shillings, fixed, inclusive of taxes, and tender validity typically 120 days.
