Overview

Open tender for the Proposed Access to Kasina (works contract to provide road access improvements). The County Government of Migori invites bids from qualified contractors. Eligible bidders must meet Kenyan public procurement requirements (tax clearance, NCA registration where applicable, anti-corruption declarations), with site-rep requirements including a Diploma in Civil Engineering for the representative during the mandatory pre-tender site visit (see Tender document). Requirements

• Eligibility: not debarred; no conflict of interest; JV rules apply; compliance with anti-corruption declarations.
• Local/foreign content: if foreign, at least 40% local inputs; JV exemptions may apply as a contract-award condition.
• Certifications/registrations: valid tax compliance certificate; National Construction Authority registration; EBK (Engineering Board of Kenya) registration for the site-visit representative; current company registration evidence.
• Tender documents: Form of Tender, Schedules (priced Bill of Quantities), Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; Joint Venture agreement if applicable; Independent Tender Determination and other required disclosures.
• Site/eligibility: DIPLOMA in Civil Engineering (for on-site representative) and proof of company eligibility and three-month tenure history.
• Other: compliance with Section II/III ITTs and Section IV forms as stipulated in the tender documents.

• Pre-qualification/registrations: tax clearance; NCA registration; EBK registration; ensure all registrations are current.
• Briefing/Site visit: mandatory pre-tender site visit at Kasina (09:00 on date indicated in the Tender Notice); bidder’s rep must present authorization letter, a Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), ID/Passport, registration proof, and company letterhead stamping (Tender Document).
