Overview

Procurement of the proposed opening/maintenance of Nyarach-Ofwanga–Kanyadgiro Road. Migori County Government invites bids from qualified road-works contractors. Suitable bidders are civil engineering/construction firms with relevant regulatory registrations (NCA) and Kenyan public-procurement compliance, including tax clearance and other eligibility criteria.

Requirements

• Eligible bidders must be registered legal entities (including Joint Ventures), with compliance to conflict-of-interest and anti-corruption rules; JV arrangements must be as specified in the tender documents.
• Registration and pre-qualification: National Construction Authority (NCA) registration and a valid registration certificate; tax clearance; proof of company registration.
• Local content and eligibility: foreign bidders must demonstrate at least 40% local inputs; bids must meet national ownership and eligibility rules.
• Tender documentation: Form of Tender and Schedules (including a priced Bill of Quantities); Tender Security; joint-venture documentation if applicable; documentation establishing eligibility and qualifications.
• Site visit and prerequisites: mandatory pre-tender/site visit; representative must present Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent and authorized company letter; bring appropriate identification and registration documents.

• Prepare and submit via the supplier portal with all required forms: Form of Tender, Schedules, Tender Security, qualifications, and JV agreements if applicable (Tender document).
