Overview

Procurement of opening/maintenance works for the Tommoya–Nyabohanse Road in Migori County; open to all qualified road-works contractors. The contract is a works project likely spanning several months, with competitive, open-tublic tendering.

Requirements

• Eligibility and qualifications: must meet ITT requirements, not be debarred, and may bid solo or as a joint venture (JV) with joint and several liability; JV members cannot submit multiple bids for the same works. Foreign bidders must meet local-content requirements and related registration rules (NCA registration is a condition for award). Tax clearance and other statutory proofs are required.
• Technical and managerial capacity: evidence of general and specific road-construction experience; provision of key personnel and equipment; completion of forms establishing eligibility and qualifications (Sections IV and related forms).
• Compliance and ethics: declarations on conflict of interest, fraud, corruption; adherence to competition and procurement laws; independent tender determination.
• Financial: submission of a tender security; priced Bills of Quantities; currency and price adjustment terms; all duties/taxes included; 120-day tender validity.
• Site conditions: mandatory site visit and pre-tender briefing (documented in tender procedures; on-site verification of qualifications during visit).
