Overview

RFQ for Architectural services to assess and replace copper roof sheeting on a Durban Heritage Building (Durban Regional Office). Suitable bidders are architectural firms registered with SACAP, in good standing with the National Heritage Council of SA, and experienced with heritage building assessments and roof works.

Requirements

• Architect must be National Heritage Council of SA recognized and SACAP registered.
• Proven experience with building structures assessments, especially heritage buildings (Annexure BR).
• Compliance with tax and supplier rules: SARS Tax PIN/TCS, CSD number if no TCS, BBBEE certification (consolidated for JV/Consortium).
• Complete bid documents: SBD1, SBD4 (and SBD7 contract if awarded); pricing in ZAR; English proposals.
• Preference/BBEE and consortium rules apply; in consortium, provide consolidated BBBEE certificate.
• Adhere to heritage council prerequisites for copper roof sheeting replacement.
