Provision and Management of Desludging Services for On-Site Sanitation Systems within eThekwini Municipality for 36 Months. This is a CIDB-grade 7 CE/GB construction tender for on-site sanitation desludging operations in Durban's municipality area. Suitable bidders have CIDB 7 CE/GB (or higher), must be able to deliver under a multi-provider framework (see Addendum), and comply with eThekwini SCM, OH&S, and registration requirements.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading designation: 7 CE/GB (or higher).
• Compliance with eThekwini SCM policy: must be registered on the Supplier Portal; must have CSD registration and JDE access.
• Financial/compliance: Audited financial statements if tender value exceeds R10 million; municipal rates/taxes clearance; B-BBEE and tax status verifications via CSD.
• Past performance: disclosure of contracts awarded in the last 5 years; resolution of any material non‑compliance.
• Tender validity: 12 months.
• JV rules: separate PINs for each JV member; formal JV agreements as applicable.
• OH&S: OHS Act 37.2 agreement in place with safety sign‑offs.
• Additional: mandatory Clarification Meeting and use of BOQ/Annexures (e.g., Annexure A/B) and Provisional Sums (see Addendum for adjusted values).
