Overview

Provision for MV/ LV Maintenance & Repairs of MV & LV lines (Overhead aerial bundled conductor and bare conductor) in Cape Coastal Cluster – Eastern Cape. Target bidders are electrical infrastructure contractors with MV/LV maintenance capabilities, experience with ABC lines and bare conductor work, and who can meet Eskom’s QA, safety, and contractual requirements (incl. ISO 9001 QMS, CIDB, and NEC ECC3 framework).

Requirements

• ISO 9001:2015 QMS certification or evidence of QMS in operation (per Eskom Supplier Quality Management requirements).
• Contract Quality Plan / Quality Control Plan documentation (CQP, ITP/QCP templates to be provided).
• Evidence of defined roles, responsibilities, and authorities; internal/external audit records; and management review processes.
• Pre-contract and post-contract QA documentation as per ISO 9001 and Eskom templates.
• Health, safety and risk considerations as per OHS requirements (Section 37(2) Agreement templates) and list of live/risks in NEC ECC3 data.
• CIDB registration (appropriate grade) and tax/compliance checks (PAYE questionnaire and related supplier evaluation docs).
• Local content/industrial policy declarations where applicable (SBD 6.1/6.2 and Annexures).
• Pricing documentation aligned to the BCQ/BOQ and e-tendering submission formats.
• Standard tender eligibility criteria: no conflicts of interest, no sanctions, and full compliance with Eskom’s standard conditions.
