Overview

This tender seeks to procure repairs, removal, sealing and waterproofing of a leaking roof at Overberg District Municipality. It targets roofing/building contractors with CIDB registration, specifically minimum 1SN, and requires bidders to be tax compliant (SARS TCS/PIN) and to follow SCM PBPP/PP rules.

Requirements

• CIDB registration with minimum 1SN.
• Tax compliance: valid TCS PIN (SARS); or CSD number if no TCS; ensure per-entity TCS for JV/consortium members.
• Compulsory attendance at the site briefing (15 October 2026 11:00, ODM Head Office, 26 Long Street, Bredasdorp).
• Submit all bid documents (official forms, pricing schedule MBD 3.1, BBBEE documentation) including original/certified BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Registration on the Accredited Supplier Database and Central Supplier Database (CSD) as applicable.
• Submit via the prescribed bid document format; no fax/email submissions.

How to Apply

• Submissions due 23 October 2026 (12:00) in a sealed envelope endorsed “Q08-2026 …” and placed in the ODM Bid Box at 26 Long Street, Bredasdorp (see Q08-2026_Bid Doc.pdf).
• Obtain bid documents from ODM Supply Chain Management Unit, 11 Recreation Street, Bredasdorp (see MBD package).
• Attend the compulsory site briefing: 15 October 2026 at 11:00 (see Q08-2026 documents).
• Complete and submit: MBD1 (Invitation), MBD2 (Tax), MBD3.1 (Pricing), MBD4–MBD9 (various declarations), and the Pricing Schedule, with any BBBEE documentation.

Note: The site meeting and CIDB/TCS requirements are mandatory; the lowest bid may not be accepted.
