Overview

Provision for security services for 36 months at two water treatment plants and two pump stations by a recognised private security company. Bidders should be security service providers registered on the National Treasury Supplier Database; a mandatory briefing is required (15 September 2026); bid documents available 4–14 September 2026; deposit of R300 is payable.

Requirements

• Recognised private security company to provide security services at Ngagane and Biggersberg WTPs and Verdruik and Tayside pump stations for 36 months.
• Bidders must be registered on the National Treasury Supplier Database (CSD).
• Minimum functionality score of at least 80% to progress to the next evaluation stage.
• Evaluation will use an 80/20 preference-point system with claimed specific goals.
• Bids must be sealed, endorsed with “BID NO: OPS2027-BID-003 FOR THE PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES FOR 36 MONTHS,” and deposited by 12:00 on 06 October 2026; public opening; late submissions not considered.
• Tenders require safety gear at the plant site and submission of a copy of the tender document.
• Deposit of R300 to the specified bank account (Standard Bank, Ref: OPS2027-BID-003).
