Overview

Provision of a 100Mbps/100Mbps Internet Link with a 50Mbps/50Mbps Backup Link and a VOIP Telephony Solution for 150 Extensions for 36 months. This opportunity targets ICT/Telco bidders capable of delivering dedicated symmetric Internet, backup failover, VoIP systems (hosted or on-premise), related hardware, licensing, installation, and ongoing support, with required governance and SCM compliance.

Requirements

• Compulsory Tender Briefing: 09 September 2026, Nongoma Municipality, 10:00.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration mandatory; SARS Tax Compliance (PIN) requirements; VAT registration.
• ICASA ECS license or exemption letter.
• Completion and submission of MBD forms: MBD 3.3, 4, 6.1, 8, 9.
• Evidence of capability: security measures, VoIP/Networking experience, project management qualifications, implementation plan, and references (functional scoring criteria).
• Skills transfer: successful bidder must sign an agreement for 12 months of skills transfer.
• Pricing: fixed 36-month scope; contigency (5%) and VAT (15%) included; 30-day payment terms after invoicing.
• Procurement rules: may appoint more than one bidder; no tender defaulters; baseline compliance with GCC and contract conditions.
