Overview

Provision of a recruitment agency to supply casual staff during events for the Commercial Sports Facilities Directorate for 36 months. Bidders should be recruitment agencies with hospitality/events staffing experience, able to provide pre-screened casual staff, induction and training, and scalable staffing. Essential: register on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD), provide Tax Compliance PIN or Tax Clearance, and include relevant returnable documents and references. The project emphasizes ownership and B-BBEE considerations for preferential points.

Requirements

• Experience in hospitality and events staffing; minimum 2 reference letters in last 3 years.
• Must be registered on the CSD (MAAA number) and on the eThekwini vendor portal; provide MAAA/CSD details.
• Tax Compliance Status PIN or Tax Clearance Certificate.
• Declaration of municipal fees paid or acknowledged debt.
• Occupational Health and Safety Act compliance plus signed 37.2 safety agreement (see document 36374-5M 37.2 Agreement).
• Complete and submit all MBD returnable documents: MBD 4, MBD 5 (if > R10m), MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9.
• Provide Authority of Signatory, and Official Tender Form with JV if applicable.
• Functionality threshold (≥70 points) based on methodology, training accreditation, induction, contingency plans, staff ratios, and project management experience.
• Pricing must follow Official Tender Form; include VAT and unit prices; fixed for contract duration (or per SCT).
• No tender will be considered from persons in the state service; compliance with SCM and procurement rules.
