Overview

Provision of additional server storage disk capacity to be supplied, installed and configured at FSCA’s head office (Ashlea Gardens) and disaster recovery site (Waterfall Midrand); open to bidders with Dell accreditation and storage-infrastructure experience. The contract starts 01 August 2026 and covers 10 disks for production and 20 disks for disaster recovery, distributed across five Dell EMC AX-750XD servers. Questions close 28 July 2026; closing date 18 August 2026.

Requirements

• Pre-qualification: active Dell accredited partner in South Africa; OEM accreditation verified with Dell.
• Technical scope: supply, install and configure 10 disks (production) at head office and 20 disks (DR) at DR site; disks must be SSD/SAS with 3-Way Mirror, high availability; production disks 7.68TB, DR disks 3.84TB; use Dell ProDeploy services.
• Deployment: distribute disks evenly across five servers per site; after-hours/maintenance weekend installation; documented SLA and performance requirements.
• Resources: skilled resource on-site with at least 5 years’ experience; evidence required before start.
• Compliance: bid submissions must include SBD 1, SBD 3.1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1; CSD registration or SARS Tax Compliance status PIN; central supplier database as applicable.
• Evaluation: compliance, desktop functional evaluation (min 80/100), 80/20 preference (price 80; specific goals 20), possible site inspection.

• Documents to submit: SBD 1, SBD 3.1 (Pricing Schedule), SBD 4, SBD 6.1; Preference Points Claim Form; pricing must be firm and in ZAR; bid validity 120 days.
• Addresses: Head Office and Disaster Recovery site are provided in the TOR; submission must be to the FSCA bid box at Riverwalk Office Park, 41 Matroosberg Road, Pretoria (see attached TOR) (4.4).
• Additional: ensure tax and CSD/VAT compliance; provide site-access proof and evidence of the required 5+ years’ experience; site visits may be conducted if required (16–17).
