Overview

Provision of Air Travel and Ticketing Agency Services under a two-year framework agreement open to IATA-registered travel service providers. The procurement is by the County Government of Machakos, inviting open national bids for air travel booking and ticketing as part of a framework contract for 2026-2028 (two-year period). Open to all qualified suppliers; IATA registration is a stated eligibility requirement for the air travel category.

Requirements

• IATA registration required for air travel and ticketing services (GMC/OOG/FWA/002). (see GMC/OOG/FWA/002/2026-2027 & 2027-2028)
• Open national competitive tender; eligibility, anti-fraud, anti-collusion and fair competition provisions; JV rules apply if forming a joint venture (see ITT 4 and JV provisions).
• Tender security or tender securing declaration as part of the tender submission.
• Tender prices in Kenya Shillings; include taxes; tender validity (119 days); conversion to a single currency for evaluation as applicable.
• Documents to be submitted include Form of Tender, Activity Schedule, Tender Security/Declaration, JV agreement if any, evidence of eligibility, conformity and other documents as per the Tender Data Sheet.
• Standstill period of 14 days post-award and performance security requirements after contract signing (if applicable).
• Compliance with public procurement law and environmental/anti-corruption provisions as outlined in the tender documents.

How to Apply

• Prepare and submit a sealed tender by depositing in the Tender Box at Machakos County Headquarters, Ngei Road; no electronic submission allowed; deadline 21 October 2026 at 11:00 AM Local Time (closing date/time may be specified in the Tender Data Sheet). (see Tender Documents)
• Chronologically serialize all pages of the tender; submit Form of Tender, priced Activity Schedule, Tender Security or Security Declaration, and JV documents if applicable, plus evidence of IATA registration and eligibility documents (as required in ITT 13).
