Overview

** RFQ for the Provision of Alarm Systems and 12-month Maintenance at Cape Town International Airport (CTIA) and CTIA N2 Cage security integration.** Bidders should be capable security integrators with Electronics Security Systems certification and PSIRA accreditation, and compliant with SARS/CSD/VAT prerequisites.

Requirements

• Functional scope: Motion detection around the N2 Cage; immediate alarm notification to security; response within a 20 km radius.
• System components: Door/gate contacts; central alarm panel.
• Implementation: Installation by a qualified Electronics Security Systems certificate holder and PSIRA-accredited provider; comprehensive testing before handover.
• Maintenance: Scheduled preventive and prompt corrective maintenance.
• Additional considerations: Reliable primary power with backup; weather‑resistant components suitable for Cape Town conditions.
• Compliance and documentation: Submit mandatory returnable documents (SBD forms, Tax Pin, CSD/BEE documents, confidentiality agreement, VAT questionnaire) and ensure information remains valid for the contract term.
