Overview

Provision of armed response security services for a four-month period at Nelshoogte Plantation. Bidders should be security service providers with proven armed-response capability, forestry/Lowveld experience, and compliance with SA security regulations (PSIRA, firearm licenses), plus resources such as 4x4 vehicles, an armour-plated standby vehicle, and 24-hour deployment capabilities.

Requirements

• Scope: 24-hour armed security deployment for Nelshoogte Plantation for 4 months; team composition includes 1 Team Leader (Grade B) and 13 Grade C guards; 2 additional 4x4 vehicles; 1 armour-plating vehicle on standby.
• Resources/standards: weapons (assault rifles and shotguns) with competency licenses; dedicated 4x4-5 seater vehicles; vehicle tracking; PPE and communications; monthly reporting; asset damage liability; travel included; polygraph where necessary.
• Legal/financial: minimum public liability R10 million; compliance with SHEQ (SHEQ NOSA, FSC, BOP); adherence to relevant acts (PSIRA, Firearms, COIDA, etc.); sign NEC4 Term Service Short Contract (TSSC4); VAT inclusive prices.
• Qualifications/Docs: B-BBEE SANAS certificate or sworn affidavit (EME/QSE); SARS tax clearance; CSD (MAAA numbers acceptable); IDs of directors; SBD 6.2 and Annexure C for Local Content; Supplier Code of Conduct.
• Verification/administration: resources verified before appointment; references (3x forestry/tactical experience) and E-NATIS/tactical-vehicle proof; site inspection requirements (vehicle 4x4, armour, branding, radios, tracking).
