Overview

Provision of Backup as a Service (BaaS) for a period of 5 years, inviting IT service providers with cloud backup, data protection and managed services capabilities to bid. Eskom seeks a vendor to deliver a scalable BaaS solution with data protection, secure access, monitoring and ongoing support, aligned with POPIA and Eskom contract requirements.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience delivering BaaS or cloud backup services for large organizations with defined SLA, RPO and RTO.
• Compliance with data protection and information security obligations (POPIA) and ability to implement required controls.
• Ability to provide NEC3 ECC3 contract instruments (e.g., Parent Company Guarantee, Performance Bond, Advanced Payment Bond, Retention) as part of Works Information.
• Willingness to comply with Eskom health, safety, environment and security requirements, including security clearances and appropriate insurances.
