Overview

THE PROVISION OF BREAK FIX FOR SANRAL ICT EQUIPMENT AND MAINTENANCE FOR A PERIOD OF 18 MONTHS. Bidders should be ICT services providers with OEM-aligned break-fix capabilities (multi-vendor support) for SANRAL’s HQ, COC and Rivonia data centres, and must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database.

Requirements

• Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide CSD number; foreign bidders may have exemptions as per policy.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN required; ability to verify tax status; if applicable, separate PINs for joint ventures.
• Minimum resources: two named certified resources (1 x HPE ATP Compute; 1 x HPE ASE or Master ASE for Storage) (see attached RFP 150002250).
• Evidence package: Form B1, OEM confirmation, service descriptions, coverage schedules, and support entitlement.
• Returnable documents: SBD1 and Form A2–A20 (and related forms) completed and provided.
• B-BBEE: valid verification certificate or sworn affidavit; to be included in Form A12.
• Security: may require security clearance to required level; compliance with governance/oversight arrangements.
• Sub-contracting: minimum of 30% of work to Targeted Enterprises; ongoing sub-contractor governance and reporting.
• Compliance with SPA/Tender rules: no collusion, conflicts of interest disclosed, and all information accurate.

• Submission method: sealed bid in envelope, one original plus one hard copy and an electronic copy; tender box at SANRAL Central Operations Centre, 36 Assegai Wood Road, Centurion.
• Queries: clarifications via email; responses shared with all bidders; enquiries close 18 August 2026 at 16:00. (see SBD1 section)
• Briefing: formal briefing not applicable.
• Documents to submit: SBD1 plus Forms A2–A20, B1–B4, pricing schedule (including VAT), and all returnable documents; ensure CSD (A7) and Tax Compliance (A9) are current.
