Overview

Provision of catering services for postgraduate studies at the University of Fort Hare (Alice campus). Suitable for qualified catering service providers with capacity to deliver institutional meals, health and food-safety compliance, and registration requirements. Scope includes breakfast and buffet lunch as per the attached catering specification, and ongoing service for postgraduate study events. Vendors should have a valid tax clearance, be registered on the Central Supplier Database, and be listed on UFH’s supplier database; health and safety certifications are required.

Requirements

• CSD registration (compulsory) and Original Tax Clearance Certificate
• Must be on UFH supplier database; health certificate and UFH database eligibility
• BBBEE / preference points: 80/20 system (price vs specific goals); ability to claim via SBD 6.1
• Complete and submit required SBD forms (SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 8, SBD 9) and Pricing Schedule, plus Price Declaration forms
• Pricing to include VAT; price validity (bid open period) stated in documents (e.g., 90 days)
• Must comply with catering specification and health and safety requirements (SPECIFICATION-FOR-CATERING-1.pdf); bids may require proof of B-BBEE status and other disclosures
• No late quotes; submission by email as specified
