Overview

This tender is for the provision of cleaning, rehabilitation and management of environmental spillages and related environmental threats at Komati Power Station. It targets contractors with expertise in spill cleanup, environmental rehabilitation, hazardous waste handling and monitoring, able to meet Eskom’s procurement and compliance conditions (SBDs, CPA, CIDB where applicable, CSD registration).

Requirements

• Eligibility and integrity: must meet Eskom’s eligibility; no sanctions; no Tender Defaulter status; no conflicts of interest; JV/consortium allowed with joint liability.
• Registrations and compliance: CSD registration; CIDB proof where applicable; Tax Clearance (local); SBD 1, 4, 6.1, 6.2; Annexures A–J; CPA local/imported as applicable.
• Technical and safety: Environmental Management Plan; Emergency Response Procedure; Hazardous Waste Compliance Certificate; staff trained in hazardous materials handling and spill response; OHS Plan; Baseline Risk Assessment; signed COIDA/good standing.
• Financial: Latest annual financial statements; for SA entities, ITA34C if applicable; for JVs, statements for each partner.
• SDL&I and contract: SDL&I penalties (1% retention for SDL&I obligations); quarterly SDL&I reporting; contractual requirements prior to award; precautionary cataloguing/labeling if required.

• Submission method: Electronic submission via Eskom E-Tendering; PDFs for all documents (max 500MB per file, total 4GB); price list in PDF and Excel.

• Registrations / pre-qualifications: CSD, CIDB (where applicable), tax clearance, COIDA or equivalent, OHS documentation, and all mandatory returnables.
