PROVISION OF CLEANING SERVICES AT FLAGSTAFF CHC IN OR TAMBO DISTRICT HEALTH FACILITY FOR A PERIOD OF THIRTY -SIX (36) MONTHS

Overview

Provision of cleaning services at Flagstaff CHC in OR TAMBO District Health Facility for a period of thirty-six (36) months. Bidders should be experienced cleaning/facilities-management contractors who can staff 12 day cleaners, 4 night cleaners and 1 supervisor, supply uniforms and PPE, manage training, and meet Eastern Cape CSD/tax/COIDA/UIF requirements, with local OR Tambo recruitment and EC-based sourcing for materials/equipment.

Requirements

• CSD registration and proof or provide CSD number; tax compliance (SARS PIN) and Tax Compliance Status; may require separate PINs for consortia.
• UIF registration and COIDA certificate (or Dept of Labour letter).
• Database with a minimum of 12 cleaners and proven SA cleaning experience; client references.
• Local procurement: source SABS cleaning materials, uniforms, and machinery from Eastern Cape manufacturers/distributors; provide local recruitment plan for OR Tambo.
• Staffing: supply 12 day cleaners, 4 night cleaners and 1 supervisor (as per staffing schedule).
• Completion of bid forms: SBD1, SBD6.1; Schedule C (Pricing), Schedule F/G/I/J as applicable; 120-day bid validity.
• Pricing: firm for year 1; CPI-based adjustments in years 2–3; VAT treatment per vendor status.
• Compliance with infection-control, safety, energy, and environmental requirements; training and contingency plans.
