Overview

Provision of Cleaning Services for Durban Heights Waterworks and UUW Durban Heights Training Centre for a period of 5 years. This tender is aimed at cleaning-service providers with proven experience in contract cleaning and the ability to meet regulatory and procurement requirements (CIDB, BBBEE, POPI, COID, BCCCI, and local presence).

Requirements

• SBD4 - Bidder’s disclosure; COID/workman’s compensation status; Bargaining Council Contract Cleaning Industry (BCCCI) registration;
• Located within eThekwini Municipality (proof via CIPC/CSD);
• POPI Act declaration;
• BBBEE documentation or evidence for cooperatives as applicable;
• Evidence of CIDB alignment and ability to comply with standard tender conditions;
• Confirmation of tax/compliance registrations as applicable.

• Briefing: Mandatory briefing session on 23 September 2026 at 11:00, 88 Dunkeld Road, Reservoir Hills, Durban (attendance restricted to bidders who purchased the bid documents) (see 2025/009(B) tender document.pdf).
• Submission deadline: 8 October 2026 by 12:00.
• Submission method: Tender documents must be deposited in the Tender Box at 310 Burger Street, Pietermaritzburg; faxed or emailed submissions will not be accepted.
• Documents to submit: Original tender offer plus one electronic copy (USB) with SBD 4, SBD 6.1, pricing schedule, and all returnables per the tender data; ensure all forms are signed (including authorisation/consents for lead signatories in joint ventures).
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: CSD registration, CIDB alignment, COID, BCCCI, POPI declaration, CIPC proof; BBBEE documents as applicable.
