Provision of construction services for the refurbishment and alterations to accommodate the Eastern Cape Provincial Office (ECPO), including associated improvement works at the Gqeberha Local Office. This tender targets CIDB 5GB+ contractors (building/refurbishment) with joint-venture options under CIDB rules; a compulsory online briefing (13 Oct 2026) is required, with attendance via MS Teams and a formal attendance register; a site inspection is optional but advisable. Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading: 5GB+; joint ventures allowed subject to lead partner grading and combined grading rules.
• Compulsory online briefing session and attendance register (MS Teams).
• Site inspection: optional; bidder to arrange access and form a qualified representation (attendance not compulsory).
• Compliance with CIDB Standard Conditions, SBD forms (Form of Offer and Acceptance), and related bidding documents.
• Tax and supplier compliance: SARS PIN / Tax Compliance Status, CSD registration if no TCS; BBBEE status and local content requirements.
• Occupational Health and Safety: compliance with Annex E OH&S Specification and related safety provisions; health and safety plans and appointed safety personnel.
• Local content, risk, insurance, and contract administration provisions as per the annexed bid documents (Annexures A–E). (see Annexure C–D; Annexure E)

How to Apply

• If needed, inspect the site at 1 Uitenhage Street, Gqeberha, after appointment (site inspection is not mandatory).
• Prepare and submit bids using the official forms (Form of Offer and Acceptance C1.1, SBD7) with all schedules, pricing data and annexures (A–E); ensure CIDB, tax and BBBEE documentation are included (see Annexes A–E).
