Overview

Provision of Consultancy Services to review the Actuarial Study and assess the Workfare Programme Fund (WPF). Open to local consultancy firms with proven actuarial expertise and experience in actuarial reviews and social protection funds.

Requirements

• Must be a Fellow of a recognized actuarial body (e.g., Actuarial Society of India, Canadian Institute of Actuaries, CAS, Faculty of Actuaries, Institute of Actuaries (UK), etc.). (Annex 1)
• Minimum experience: at least two similar actuarial projects in the last five years (higher counts yield higher marks). (Annex 1)
• Eligibility: not listed as ineligible by Mauritius government or on international development banks’ ineligibility lists; provide a statement on any past ineligibilities. (Annex 1)
• CIDB: where applicable, ensure registration with CIDB prior to bidding. (Annex 1)
• Proposal documents to include: Form F-1 (cover letter), CV in Form F-2, and assignments in Form F-3 (Annex 2). (Annex 2)
• Duration: project maximum 10 weeks from Letter of Acceptance; indicate proposed timeline. (Annex 1)
• Proposal validity: 90 days from bid deadline. (Annex 1)
• Payment: three milestones linked to deliverables; interim and final deliverables with endorsed reviews. (Annex 1)
