Overview

SAFCOL invites quotations for the Provision of Destacking and Rework Services for a Month at Timbadola Saw Mill. Suitable bidders are those with sawmilling/forestry or agriculture contract experience, capable of supplying labour and transport, and managing IR issues; required certifications include SANAS-accredited BBBEE verification or an EME/QSE sworn affidavit, a valid tax clearance, and registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).

Requirements

• Complete the RFQ in full and submit on company letterhead; include all SBD forms.
• BBBEE: SANAS-accredited certificate or sworn affidavit (EME/QSE) signed by a Commissioner of Oaths.
• Latest SARS Tax Clearance Certificate.
• CSD registration (if not registered, register within 7 working days of award).
• Company registration documents and IDs of company directors.
• Labour/COID compliance: Proof of registration with the Compensation Commissioner and a good standing/COID-related documents.
• Price must be firm and VAT-inclusive; timesheets to be submitted daily; accommodation and transport arrangements to be provided by the bidder; PPE to be supplied per job function.
• If bidding as a Joint Venture, provide consolidated B-BBEE certificate.
• Complete and submit all disclosure and supplier code of conduct forms (SBD4, SBD6.1, etc.) as part of the returnable documents.

• Deadline: Closing date 17 September 2026 (RFQ closing; check RFQ document for validity period of 60 days from closing). Use RFQ TIM-306-2026 as the reference.
• Submission method: Email quotations to RFQNorth@safcol.co.za with the RFQ number in the subject.
• Documents to submit: Fully completed RFQ, official quotation on letterhead, latest Tax Clearance, BBBEE certificate/sworn affidavit, CSD proof, IDs of directors, and all SBD documents.
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD registration, tax clearance; confirmation of B-BBEE status.
• Briefing session: None (no compulsory briefing).
