Overview

RFQ for Provision of Destacking and Rework Services for a Month at Timbadola Saw Mill. SAFCOL invites quotes from service providers to supply labour for destacking and rework in the Drymill and related departments, plus labour transport and site supervision. Suitable bidders should have sawmilling/forestry experience, the ability to deploy the required shift staffing, infrastructure to manage IR and safety, and the necessary B-BBEE and registration credentials. Requirements

• Complete the RFQ on company letterhead; email to the specified address with the RFQ number in the subject.
• B-BBEE: SANAS-accredited verification or an EME/QSE sworn affidavit.
• Tax clearance and SARS status; CSD registration (or register within 7 working days of award).
• IDs of company directors; SBD forms signed and returned.
• Evidence of COID/workman compensation registration and good standing.
• Experience: demonstrated contract management in sawmilling/forestry/agriculture with verifiable reference letters.
• Labour/IR: applicant must provide required labour, PPE, safety training, and manage own IR issues.
• PPE: contractor supplies PPE per job function; SAFCOL provides some PPE, per annexed terms.
• Staffing plan and transport: per Annexure A, two shifts; transport of employees Fridays into SAFCOL site and back Mondays.
• Returnable documents and quotations must be complete and signed.
• Compliance with GCC/SCC and supplier code of conduct.
