Overview

Provision of Event Management Services for the County Wide Village Elders’ Consultative Meeting. The Kisii County Government invites open bids from event-management firms to plan and deliver end-to-end services for a county-wide elders’ meeting, with a budget around KES 35,000,000. Bids are to be submitted electronically via the IFMIS supplier portal (www.supplier.treasury.go.ke) (bid document).

Requirements

• Eligibility and integrity: comply with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015; sign the Certificate of Independent Tender Determination; not be debarred; avoid conflicts of interest.
• Financial/commercial: tender security of KES 700,000; price in Kenyan Shillings; prices inclusive of taxes; bid valid for 140 days; PPRA levy of 0.03% included.
• Documentation: Form of Tender; priced Activity Schedule; Joint Venture documents if applicable; evidence of tax compliance; conformity with tender documents.
• Capability: proven ability to deliver end-to-end event management (logistics, program, AV, venue, safety); submission of a preliminary work plan/methodology.
• Local content and eligibility: nationality and local-content rules for foreign bidders; environmental and ethical compliance; tax obligations.

How to Apply

• Obtain documents electronically from www.kisii.go.ke or www.tenders.go.ke (bid document) (filename: bid document).
• Prepare: Form of Tender, priced Activity Schedule, Tender Security, JV documents if any, and eligibility/qualifications evidence (as per ITT 13–19).
• Submit electronically via IFMIS by 22 September 2026 at 10:00 East African Time (bid document). Ensure pages are serialized.
• Clarifications: email inquiries to procurement@kisii.go.ke at least three days before closing (bid document).
• Pre-bid/site visits: may be required or optional; check TDS for details (bid document).
• Tender opening: same day as closing, at County Treasury, Block A, Room 2; attendance by bidders’ reps (bid document).
