PROVISION OF FIRE, HAZMAT, RESCUE AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AT HENDRINA POWER STATION FOR A PERIOD OF 05 YEARS

Overview

Provision of Fire, HazMat, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services at Hendrina Power Station for a period of 5 years. This open tender seeks a single contractor to deliver integrated emergency services, including firefighting, HazMat response, rescue operations and on-site EMS, with the supplier expected to meet Eskom’s safety, quality and local-content requirements (and to operate in a power-station environment).

Requirements

• Eligibility and compliance: bidders must meet Eskom’s eligibility criteria, not hold sanctions/restrictions, not be on tender defaulters lists, and must avoid conflicts of interest; joint ventures must explicitly state joint and several liability; no 100% subcontracting of the scope.
• Documentation and submissions: all documents must be PDFs uploaded to the Eskom E-tendering site (folder: Technical, Commercial, Financial, SHEQ/SDL&I); price list to be PDF; file size limits apply (up to 500 MB per document, 4 GB total).
• Mandatory and ancillary attachments: SBD forms (SBD 1, 4, 6.1, 6.2) and other annexures (CPA local/import content declarations, Integrity Pact, PAYE tax questionnaire) as listed in the ITT; local-content declarations (G1–G4) for designated materials.
• Quality, safety and environment: must address ISO 9001 QMS requirements or QMS in operation, QCP/ITP, and high-risk OHS evaluation processes; comply with the Environmental Evaluation Checklist and Eskom’s OHS requirements (Annexures B and related templates).
• Evaluation and contract scope: tender is for the entire scope, single contract; contract quality plans and technical evaluation Strategy guide the process; documents include the SOW, CQP templates, and related evaluation templates.
