Overview

Provision of Food Hygiene management services for a period of 5 years at Matimba Power Station. This is a 60-month professional services contract for microbiological and chemical testing of food, auditing of food management/quality systems and training of food handlers at Matimba Power Station. Bidders should be capable professional service providers with SA-accredited food safety auditors (registered with a recognized board) and accreditation by SETA/QCTO, and with demonstrable experience in food hygiene and related regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Open Invitation to Tender for the provision of Food Hygiene management services (Matimba Power Station).
• The bidder must have a food safety auditor/inspector registered with a SA board and accredited by SETA and QCTO.
• Provide three auditor reports from previous engagements.
• Capabilities for microbiological and chemical testing of food products, surfaces and hands (monthly testing and on demand), and QA/QMS auditing in line with Regulation 638.
• Training of food handlers and compliance with Eskom/Regulatory standards.
• Submit all mandatory tender returnables (SBD forms, Tax Evaluation questionnaire, Integrity Pact) by deadlines.
• No conflicts of interest, no Eskom restrictions, and no more than one tender submission.
• Comply with Eskom Standard Conditions of Tender; provide pricing schedule in PDF and Excel; sign remaining annexures as required.
