Overview

The NRWDI RFQ seeks quotes for graphic design, layout, editing and print services to support NRWDI’s Annual Report, Annual Performance Plan (APP) and related materials, including a PowerPoint/template deliverable. Eligible bidders are service providers with graphic design, editing and printing capabilities and a demonstrable CI/brand alignment; must provide a portfolio, references and CVs for key staff, and meet the mandatory bid requirements.

Scope highlights include: development of three overarching creative themes, design/layout/editing of the APP (~80 pages) and Annual Report (~100 pages), production of proofs and print-ready files, web/publishable PDFs, and a branded PowerPoint template (for Parliamentary use).

Requirements

• Fully quote per specification and submit to the correct email before closing.
• Mandatory documents at closing:
  • Three signed reference letters (design, layout, editing/printing) from the last 3 years.
  • Portfolio with at least three relevant projects in the last 3 years.
  • CV for at least one Graphic Designer (min 3 years) and one Editor (min 3 years).
  • ID copies for owners/directors as reflected on registration docs (CIPC/CSD/BBBEE).
  • Company profile showing ≥3 years’ experience in graphic design, layout, editing and printing.
  • SBD forms (at least SBD 4 & 6.1) submitted with the quote.
  • BBBEE certificate or affidavit (where applicable).
  • Tax/compliance status and Central Supplier Database registration.
• Evaluation: 80/20 preference (price 80; specific goals 20). Specific-goals include ownership by Black People and by Women; proof required (e.g., shareholder certificates, IDs, sworn BBBEE certificates).
• Mandatory at award: tax compliance, not listed in restricted/tender defaulters registers.
