Overview

Provision of grass cutting services for an 18-month period at Buffeljagsrivier. Swellendam Municipality invites quotations from service providers to perform grass cutting and related grounds maintenance at Buffeljagsrivier, open to bidders capable of municipal grounds maintenance and compliant with SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN requirements, submitting on prescribed documents.

Requirements

• Valid Tax Compliance Status PIN issued by SARS.
• Submissions must be on prescribed documents and in a sealed envelope.
• No subcontracting allowed.
• Quotations must be submitted to the Municipal Quotation Box by 23 October 2026 at 11:00 (closing per advert). Late submissions not considered.
• Quotations valid for 60 days from closing date.
• Inquiries in writing to the responsible official; no inquiries in the last two days before closing.
• Special conditions: 80/20 preferential framework applies per policy; Council may accept full or partial quotations; not bound to lowest quote.

How to Apply

• Submit quotations in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the quotation number and description, to the Municipal Quotation Box at 11 Lind Street, Swellendam, before 11:00 on 23 October 2026.
• Ensure submission includes the Tax Compliance Status PIN and is on prescribed documents; late or non-conforming submissions will not be considered.
• Submissions by email or fax are not acceptable.
