Overview

Provision of grass cutting services for an 18-month period at Suurbraak (Swellendam Municipality). The quotation is open to qualified grass-cutting / grounds-maintenance contractors. Special condition: no sub-contracting is allowed. Quotations are evaluated on an 80/20 Preferential Procurement basis, with bids valid for 60 days.

Requirements

• No sub-contracting allowed (special bid condition).
• Must submit on the prescribed quotation documents and include a valid Tax Compliance Status PIN issued by SARS.
• Quotations will be evaluated under the municipality’s Preferential Procurement Policy; lowest bid not guaranteed.
• Sealed submissions due by 11:00 on 23 October 2026; late or non-sealed quotations are not considered.
• Bids may be accepted in full or in part.

• Obtain official quotation documents from Mr. K. Juries (Supply Chain Management) at 11 Lind Street, Swellendam, from 15 October 2026, via tel 028-514-8500 or scm@swellendam.gov.za (document filename: SMQ13-26-27_Advert.pdf).
• Submit in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the quotation number and description to the Municipal Quotation Box at 11 Lind Street, Swellendam, by 11:00 on 23 October 2026.
• Include a valid Tax Compliance Status PIN; submit only on prescribed documents.
• Inquiries must be in writing; no inquiries accepted in the last two days before closing.
