Overview

Provision of Group Life Insurance for National Government Constituencies Development Board staff members. Suitable bidders are Kenyan insurance providers registered with the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA), able to deliver one-year group life cover (Sept 1, 2026–Aug 31, 2027) with potential renewal, and capable of providing policy documentation and claims administration (TENDER DOCUMENT FOR GROUP LIFE INSURANCE).

Requirements

• Insurance providers must be IRA-registered; contract award condition requires IRA registration (not a tender condition).
• Not debarred or prohibited from public procurement; comply with PPRA and Kenya tax rules (current tax compliance certificate).
• No conflicts of interest; JV arrangements allowed with a nominated representative; partners jointly liable.
• Provide a sample insurance policy for each required type and conform to Schedule of Requirements.
• Submit tender security of KES 160,000 (valid 150 days).
• Currency: Kenyan Shillings; no price adjustments during contract performance; no alternative tenders unless permitted.
