Overview

Provision of Group Medical Insurance Cover for Integrated Natural Resources Management Programme (INReMP) Staff. Open tender for insurance underwriters licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority to provide group medical insurance for 33 INReMP staff, funded by IFAD/GoK; suited to insurers with health benefits administration experience in Kenya.

Requirements

• Insurance underwriters licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA).
• Bidders may bid individually or as a joint venture; JV members liable; conflicts of interest disclosed.
• Bidder must meet eligibility/qualification as per ITB: origin from eligible country, financial/technical capability, and, if not the manufacturer, authorized to supply; local representation with maintenance capability.
• Bid security: Kenya Shillings 300,000, in acceptable form, valid 30 days beyond bid validity.
• Bids must be hard copies (no electronic bids); price currency in KSh or USD; bid validity as per BDS; prices fixed unless otherwise noted.
• Compliance with IFAD anti-corruption, SECAP standards, sexual harassment policy, money-laundering rules; cooperation with investigations.
• Late bids rejected; opening process as specified in ITB.
