Provision of guarding security services to uMngeni-uThukela Water Central Region for a period of five years. This open tender is for security service providers; bidders must hold PSIRA registration, NKP accreditation or a valid NKP tender letter, COID good standing, UIF registration, and meet Kwa-Zulu Natal location requirements. Requirements

• PSIRA registration for the company; COID Act good standing; UIF contributions; Affinity Health and UIF requirements; NKP accreditation or letter to tender; KB documents for NKP.
• Proof of Kwa-Zulu Natal address; B-BBEE status or sworn affidavit; CSD/CIDB presence may be referenced; SBD4 disclosure completed.
• Minimum resources: at least 20 vehicles; firearms licensed and available; control room and site security infrastructure meeting specified standards; evidence of security equipment, uniforms, IDs, and incident procedures.
• Insurance: Public Liability (min R10,000,000) and Professional Indemnity (min R5,000,000).
• Returnable schedules including tenderer experience, key personnel CVs, and site verification data.
• Contract Participation Goals: 35% total with 25% from UUW area and 10% Local participation (CPG).

• Evaluation: three-stage process — Stage 1 Mandatory; Stage 2 Functionality (Tenderer’s Experience, Key Personnel, Physical Verification); Stage 3 Price and Preference (90/10 with 10 for BBBEE goals). Prepare evidence for NKP, NKP-related experience, and CPG commitments; and ensure consistency with SBD 6.1 for preferences.
