Overview

Provision of hygiene services for public transport facilities’ ablutions in the Northern Region of eThekwini Municipality. Bidders should be experienced cleaning/service providers with OH&S compliance, and must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and the eThekwini Municipality supplier database.

Requirements

• Must be registered on the National Treasury CSD as a service provider (each JV party if a JV) and provide the CSD MA A A number.
• Must be registered on the eThekwini Municipality supplier database (provide PR/MAAA numbers) and Tax Compliance (PIN) or Tax Clearance.
• Declaration of Municipal Fees, Declaration of Interest, MBD 5/6.1/8/9, and Authority of Signatory; provide Joint Venture agreements if applicable.
• Occupational Health and Safety Act declaration; be able to provide an Health & Safety Plan if requested.
• Experience: at least one project involving cleaning of public ablutions (minimum 12 months).
• No tender from persons in the service of the state.
• Compulsory clarification meeting attended; questions consolidated and answers posted by 2026-08-27.
• Tender validity: 120 days (and potential extension requirements as per SCT).
