Overview

RFQ for Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Purified Water Dispensers at OR Tambo International Airport Airports Company South Africa seeks a contractor to design, supply, install and commission eight touch‑free purified water dispensers, complete multi‑stage purification, eight 25‑litre chilled tanks, plumbing and electrical integration, and provide training, operation manuals, and a handover package. Suitable bidders are water‑purification system integrators or building services contractors with plumbing/electrical capability, who are SARS‑compliant and registered on the Central Supplier Database where applicable.

Requirements

• Proven experience in design/installation of purified water dispensers and purification systems
• Key personnel: Project Manager (Degree/BTech), Plumber (trade test), Electrician (trade test); certified copies to be attached
• Returnable documents: signed offer and pricing, SBD 3.3, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, Confidentiality/Non‑Disclosure, BBBEE certificate or affidavit, Tax PIN or SARS Tax Compliance Status, CSD number or VAT questionnaire, ACSA terms and conditions
• Three reference letters for similar installations with value >= R250,000 in last 10 years
• Validity: bids to remain firm for 120 business days; SAQA verification for foreign qualifications if applicable

• Submission method: via email to ACSARfq@airports.co.za (do not send as one attachment; split into at least four attachments of ~4MB each); or deposit documents in the bid box at the address provided in the RFQ
• Documents to submit: completed Pricing Schedule and all mandatory forms (SBDs, Declaration of Interest, PP Form, Confidentiality, BBBEE), tax/registry docs, company incorporation, CSD, VAT/QC, ACSA terms and conditions
• Pre‑qualifications: Tax compliance (SARS PIN/TCS) or CSD number; ensure compliance with SARS and CSD requirements
