PROVISION OF ISO 9004-BASED OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE TRAINING ON AN ‘AS AND WHEN’ REQUIRED BASIS FOR A PERIOD OF TWO (2) YEARS.

Overview

The Eskom tender seeks the provision of ISO 9004-based Operational Excellence training on an as-and-when required basis for two years. Bid suitability is for training/quality-management service providers with ISO 9004/9001 expertise, Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma capabilities, and the ability to deliver 10-day courses to multiple participants on an as-needed basis via Eskom’s e-Tendering portal.

Requirements

• Accreditation: demonstrate QCTO/DHET accreditation for qualifications and SAATCA or SANAS (or equivalent) training accreditation. (see 240-43921804 Rev 6; 240-105658000)
• Expertise: proven ability to deliver ISO 9004/9001-based Operational Excellence training with Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma content; qualified subject-matter experts (Gatekeepers criteria). (see ISO 9004 training scope and QM specifications)
• Delivery capacity: provide training on an as-needed basis for two years; 10-day course duration; minimum 10 participants per class; estimated participation around 150 (scope of work).
• Documentation: submit Method Statement aligned to Eskom QM requirements and maintain QMS documentation; include facilitator qualifications and assessment methods. (see 240-126469599; 240-105658000)
• Compliance: adhere to Eskom OHS requirements; complete Annexure B acknowledgement; comply with Eskom Supplier Quality requirements for ISO 9001/9004.
